Tiger Pals Peer tutors are 4th and 5th grade students selected and trained to provide extra help in reading and math to K-3rd grade students before school each morning. The peer tutoring program was the recipient of a grant from the Greeneville City Schools' Foundation. With this grant money, peer tutors developed and implemented a multi-sensory reading and math lab that is used for hands-on learning activities during the morning peer tutoring time. Our Tiger Pals Peer Tutoring Program also received the 2007 Award for Excellence in Education Programming presented by the TSBA. Program coordinators are Pat Donaldson and Debbie Hurst.
