The Greeneville City Schools is using the cloud-based Office 365 platform for our email. To configure your Android device for use with Office 365, follow these simple steps. Select the More icon on your device: Attachment: Scroll down to the Settings icon and tap it: Attachment: 2-Settings.jpg [ 5.88 KiB | Viewed 26791 times ] Tap Add Account: Attachment: 3-AddAccount.jpg [ 11.44 KiB | Viewed 26791 times ] Select Corporate: Attachment: Enter your email address and password and select next: Attachment: Select Exchange as the server type: Attachment: The device will attempt to retrieve the settings. If it is successful, you will move past the next screen: Attachment: If the device is unable to retrieve the account settings, you will need to change the server in the next screen. Delete anything on the server line, type outlook.office365.com, and select Next: Attachment: You will receive a warning about Remote Security Administration. Tap OK: Attachment: Set your account settings (make sure you change days to sync to All or Unlimited). Make sure all boxes are checked and tap Next: Attachment: You will be notified that setup is complete. You may give your account a more meaningful name on this screen. Simply tap your email address, erase everything on the line, and enter what you wish to call this account: Attachment: You will be asked to activate device administrator. Tap Activate: Attachment: Welcome to the cloud! You may now open your mail app and view your mail. It may take a few minutes while the device downloads your mail, contacts, and calendar: Attachment: |
