The Greeneville City Schools is using the cloud-based Office 365 platform for our email.

To configure your iOS device for use with Office 365, follow these simple steps.

Select Settings, Mail Contacts and Calendars.

Select your Exchange (Greeneville City Schools) account.

Tap the arrow pointing right on the line that says Account (it should have your email address on the line).

On the screen that appears:
  • CHANGE the Server to
  • REMOVE anything in the Domain field (it should be GW when you open the screen). This field should be blank. "Optional" will be in light gray letters when you remove it.
  • CHANGE your username to your FULL email address as shown above.

Select Done. The device will verify the settings. If there is a problem, check the settings carefully.

Once you have checks next to all of the settings, you may exit this settings screen and return to other applications.

NOTE: It may take a few minutes for everything to sync to the new server. Please do not be concerned if your mail "goes away" for a few moments. It will return when the device begins syncing with the new server.
