The Greeneville City Schools is using the cloud-based Office 365 platform for our email.
To configure your account for use with Outlook, follow these simple steps.
Make sure you are not running Outlook.
Press Start, then select Control Panel.
Depending on the configuration of your machine, you may see the following screen:

If your screen looks like the image above, click on the word Category and select Large Icons:

The screen will change to an icon view. Find the Mail (32-Bit) icon and double-click it:

If you already have a profile, and you should if Outlook is configured on your computer, click the Show Profiles button:

If you do NOT have a profile already there will be nothing shown in this window, or the wizard will go directly to the window shown below.
No matter what is shown in the window, click the Add button:

Type a meaningful name for the profile. We have been using Office 365 to be clear how this profile is being used:

If you are logged into your machine as yourself, the next screen should automatically fill in your name and email address. If it did, click Next. If it did not, please ensure you are logged into the machine as yourself. If you are and the information is incorrect, simply enter the information requested, including the password in both boxes:

It will take a few moments while your computer looks up the new server information. You may be asked whether you wish to allow this website to configure your server settings. Select Allow. You may be asked again. If so, click Allow:

You will be asked to login. IMPORTANT: Any time Office 365 asks for your username, it will ALWAYS be your FULL email address. Enter your email address and password. Click Remember my credentials and click OK:

Once the process logs in and makes the necessary changes you will see a congratulatory screen. Click the box that says Change Account Settings and then click Next:

Slide the Mail to keep offline slider ALL THE WAY to the right. You should see the word "All" next to the slider when it is in the correct position. Click Next:

You will be returned to the profile screen. Click the button that says Always use this profile and select the profile you just created from the drop-down:

Select OK. Close the Control Panel Window.
Launch Outlook. It will take a few moments for it to complete the building of the profile and downloading a local copy of your mail, calendar, and contacts.
At some point, you may be asked a question about a certificate. If you see a box mentioning a certificate, select OK, Allow, or Yes. Welcome to the cloud!
