AirServer is an AirPlay receiver for Mac/PC. It allows you to receive AirPlay feeds, similar to an Apple TV, so you can stream content or Mirror your display from your iOS devices or Mountain Lion.

This means that if you have a PC or Mac connected to a projector in your room, you can use this software to project your iOS device (iPod/iPad/iPhone) screen wirelessly to the projector in your room without any additional hardware!

AirServer delivers full 1080p HD mirroring.

You can download it here: http://www.airserverapp.com/. If you are a GCS employee, contact our tech team. The price is very reasonable for educators and for personal use. Our system has purchased licenes for use in our classrooms.

Depending on how sound is connected to your computer, you may need to adjust the settings on AirServer.

You should right-click the AirServer icon in the system tray (near the clock) and select settings.

Select the Audio tab.

Then select what port your speakers are connected to. For example, if you have speakers connected to the headphone jack on your laptop, you need to select the headphone option.
