Version 2.8 of PowerTeacher includes a number of enhancements.
The most notable is that the product is no longer as dependent upon Java.
You may continue to simply launch the gradebook without installing the launcher, but we highly recommend you install the launcher.
If you wish to simply run the gradebook, simply click the word "Launch" in the sentence "Or use the old Launch."

To install the launcher, click the word "Installer:"

You will see the launcher install screen:

Click "Download Installer."

You will see the prompt asking what to do with the file. Select Run (if you are using Internet Explorer. If you are using another browser, you will have to save the file and then run it).
On the next screen, select Install.
Click Next when the installer completes.
Click Finish. The installer will display the following screen:

Click Launch on the left side of the screen (below where you clicked to install the launcher).
When prompted, click Open.
Your gradebook will open.
These instructions are also available on the installer screen. To access them, simply click the word "Next" after you complete each step:
