Thank you to Pat Fay, Technology Leader at Tusculum View for this tip!
This add-on, OneNote Printout Manager, will separate the pages of manuals or textbooks that you have already imported into OneNote. After downloading the add-on, just go to the manual/textbook in OneNote that you want separated and click on the new icon that looks like a stack of paper at the top of the page. Decide how many printouts you want per page, and click ok.
The Printout Manager numbers the pages from the very first page. If you want the numbers in the textbook to match the OneNote page numbers, you may need to move, at least for the time being, any covers or pages with roman numerals. I just added them back afterwards. Also, whatever name appears in the title box is what all the pages are named with a number added at the end. If your title is too long you won’t be able see the numbers down the right side in OneNote, so shorten your title.
In addition, Printout Manager can do background printing. With background printing you can have a form or workbook page anchored to the page so that you can add notes on top of the image without it moving or becoming selected.
