The Greeneville City Schools is using the ProofPoint P640 Messaging Security Gateway appliance.

You are now able to moderate your own quarantined email.

Click here to access the management area. Clicking this link will open the mail filter in a new browser window or tab.

The login screen displays next. Enter your email credentials (username and password. You do not need to use gw\ on your username).

To delete a particular message, simply click the check box to the left of each message you wish to delete and click Delete.

You may also request the system send you a digest immediately. You would use this if you were expecting a message and feel it may have been trapped by the filter, but you do not see it in your quarantine folder. Under normal circumstances you should not have to use this option, since your quarantine folder is real-time and reflects what is quarantined for you.

The next menu allows you to manage the people you wish to approve to send email to you. You may place any one in this list you wish. This list only affects your account. If you approve someone and they begin spamming you, you may remove them from this list at any time. You may also approve an entire domain (*.gcschools.net would allow anyone whose email address ended with gcschools.net to email you). Click the lists button on the left side of the screen. To add someone, Click New.
