  • PARENT INFORMATIONAL MEETING/COMMUNITY FORUM: ALL PARENTS and interested community members are invited and encouraged to attend a parent informational meeting on Thursday, August 14 at 7:00 P.M. in the GHS café. Our GSIA will be sponsoring this event and providing a dessert bar for your enjoyment. This meeting will be in lieu of a formal “open house” this year. All GHS teachers and staff will be in attendance. The purpose of this meeting is to meet Dr. Stroud, Mr. Richards, and Mrs. Franklin as your GHS administrators, Mr. Painter as the Freshman Academy administrator, and to meet any teachers that you may not know. Information will be given concerning expectations for behavior, attendance/tardies, dress code, cell phones, incentives, etc. This is an important evening of sharing information and setting the tone of “how we are going to do things” at GHS this year. Please mark this important date on your calendars and make plans to attend!
