Requirements:

Personal blurb that is AT LEAST one well-developed paragraph.  Not a wimpy 4 to 5 sentence paragraph.  I’ve seen the myspace paragraphs, and they are long.  This is where the majority of your daily grade comes from, and, yes, I count off for errors in conventions; however, you may use some slang.

At least 2 links (website addresses and names of sites) to things you are interested in.  One-two sentence summary of what I’ll find on each site.

Background and or photos that represent things you are interested in or involved in and a picture of you.

Six “What’s the question?” answers with the questions on the bottom of the page.

A motto or quote that represents you.

Things to think about:  I’ve been on students’ myspace sites, which proves you never know to whom you’re talking.  Once you’ve written it.  It’s out there for the world to see.  This means teachers, strangers, employers, parents, and, yes, colleges.   Myspace reported that over 29,000 sex offenders have sites.  Those are just the ones they know of.  Cyberbullying is widespread, immediate, and lasting.  Don’t do it, and tell someone if you are a victim of it.

5 points off for any information that would help me determine where you live or what school you go to.

Due at the end of class Monday.  We’ll type in class using Microsoft Publisher.
