• Have less than a 3.0 academic average

• Pass the Gateway Exam

• Earn 28 units

• Have satisfactory records of Attendance and Conduct

  Students who are certified as special education students who complete their Individualized Education Plan (IEP), have satisfactory records of Attendance and Conduct, but who have not passed the Gateway Exam are awarded a Special Education Diploma.

Students who have earned 28 units and have satisfactory records of Attendance and Conduct, but have not passed the Gateway Exam are awarded a Certificate of Attendance.
