Automotive Repair Technology- Students work with special equipment such as engine analyzers to repair the mechanics of an automobile.  Both theory and lab procedures are addressed.

Early Childhood Education Careers-  Prepares students for careers in working with young children from birth to age eight.  Emphasis is on growth and development, behavior, and planning and supervising activities for young children  Hands-on experiences are provided in child care centers and elementary schools.

Collision Repair Technology- Students study both major and minor auto body repair methods of the entire vehicle.  Theory learned in the classroom will be practiced on a related project.

Cosmetology-  Students gain knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology Exam.  Lessons are taught in a classroom and a lab similar to a professional salon.  Typical tasks range from basic haircuts to manicuring and skin care.

Criminal Justice -  Students will learn about the three components of the Criminal Justice system:  police, courts, and corrections.  They will learn how to take fingerprints, do plaster casting, investigate a crime scene, photography, forensics, and the world of work related to law enforcement.

Computer Science-  This course is designed to teach skills for entry level employment in the information technology field.  Students will learn to build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot the PC.  Students will also learn operating system setup and install, web page design, wire and cabling, and network design and installation.

Health Science Technology- This program consists of a series of courses designed for those who wish to enter the health care field.  Courses include:  Health Science Education, Medical Therapeutics, Rehabilitation Therapies, Emergency Medicine, Anatomy & Physiology, Health Care Management, Nursing Education, and Internships.

Principles of Machining and Manufacturing Students will study blueprint reading, machine shop related math, and machine shop theory.  Students will operate all types of machine tools.  Topics include: safety, hand tools, precision bench work, power saws, drilling operations, pedestal grinders, engine lathes, mill operations, surface grinders, and CNC machining.

Carpentry- This program prepares the student in the area of house construction.  Basic building skills, footings and foundations, flooring systems, roof systems, masonry, plumbing, electricity, and finishing are some of the basics covered in this course.

Welding- this program prepares students to weld with the various types of welding equipment and to be able to cut with gas and plasma arc torches.  Many skills learned in this course can be used in various areas of large industries and/or construction work.

Articulation Agreements with area two year technology and community colleges are available in most courses.  Job shadowing, on-the-job training, internships, and co-op opportunities are available for qualified students.
