Certification/Articulation/Post-Secondary Training Upon completion of the Nursing Education course, you may be eligible to take Tennessee Certification examinations and become a certified nursing assistant. Walters State Community College will offer advanced placement and/or college credit for qualified students. A certificate from the Center for Technology is awarded to each student earning 4 credits.
