HOSA Competes in Regional Competition

Prior to the competition the students prepared an elaborate portfolio of various health/medical related activities.  As a result of their hard work and meeting deadlines, etc., achieving National Recognition were Amy Lane, Jessica Mease, and Laura Birmingham.

HOSA Competition winners included:

Joshua Carter, Douglas Moore, Sandra Ealey, and Veronica Roberts--Biomedical Debate, 1st Place

Angel Eason--Speaking Skills, 2nd Place

Ashley Burgin--Rescue Breathing/First Aide, 1st Place

All of these students now qualify to participate in the State Competition to be held in Nashville March 24-26.

 HOSA (Health Occupations Students of  America) is open to any student who is interested in a future in any healthcare career.
