HOSA Member-Health Science Student Receive Service Awards

 

 

Center for Technology and Greeneville High School brother and sister Ashley and Douglas Moore have been awarded the Gold Level, Barbara James Service Award for their service to the Boys and Girls Club of Greeneville.  They will also be receiving the Presidential Service Award from President Bush.  Ashley has given 1,500 hours, while Douglas has logged 1,000 hours of service. These are the highest awards  that a HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) student can achieve.  They will be receiving these awards  at the State HOSA competition,  to be held March 24-26 in Nashville, as well as the National HOSA competition in Orlando in June.  HOSA  (Health Occupations Students of  America) is open to any student who is interested in a future in any healthcare career.
