Search the Internet and find the orgin of any element on the periodic table. You must do one that no one else has already done.

(1) Pick a compound. (2) Give the chemical formula for it. (3)Tell me the elements that make it up. (4) Tell me how people use this compound. Once a compound is used then no one else can use it. Example - NaCl - Salt, Sodium & Chlorine, used to flavor foods.

Search the internet and give me the specific melting and boiling points of a substance. You can choose any element that is on the periodic chart. You may not use an element that has already been done by another student.

Search the web and find two points of information about a cell (ex. diseases, mitosis, meiosis, etc.) This can be anything we discussed in class or something beyond the issues of class.
