The Department of Education has just posted a resource on the web to assist administrators, school counselors, teachers, parents, and students with the placement of special needs students in career and technical education programs.

To access this new Special Needs Resource, take the following steps:

1.     Go to the Department of Education home page: http://www.tennessee.gov/education/.

2.     Select Resources and Support Services in the menu on the left.

3.     Select Special Needs Students in the pop-up menu.

The Word and .pdf files contain the Special Needs Resource. The .ppt file contains a slide show about use of the Resource.
