Mr. Johnny Painter, GHS math teacher and coach, and Mr. Randy Richards, GHS Athletic Director, were celebrated by members of the C-team on Friday, April 18.  TSSAA recently sent a note congratulating Coach Painter and Coach Richards for the outstanding work they did in hosting the post-season district and regional basketball tournaments in Greeneville this year.  The commendation said, “The individual that reported this to the state office stated that you made everyone feel welcome and ran a smooth tournament.  We at TSSAA would like to commend and thank you for going the extra mile and doing the little things needed to direct a successful event.”  We also would like to thank these gentlemen for representing GHS, our school system, and our community with such class!
