Things Parents need to Know
PARENT MEETING: You are invited to attend our Parent Meeting on
September 8; October 6; November 13; December 13; January 10; February 7; March 7; April 27; May 15; June 13
at 9:45 AM at George Clem Administration Building on Floral Street. Come and meet other parents for a time of learning and fellowship. PLEASE JOIN US!
VOLUNTEERS: We would love to have you come and visit in your child’s classroom. There are many things you can help us with: reading a story, supervising a center, helping with computers, making telephone calls, cutting out art activities and much more. See your child’s teacher to schedule a time that will be convenient for both of you. To volunteer you must have a TB Skin test, that is provided FREE by Head Start in Kingsport. Please request information from your child’s teacher.
CALENDAR: Please make sure to check the Dates to Remember section. There are usually several days that your child will NOT attend school in each month due to in-service or holidays.
Inclement Weather: be reminded that we follow the GREENEVILLE CITY school schedule for schools closings for bad weather. We will NOT have class on the days Greeneville City is closed for snow or ice. In the event of a delayed schedule our buses will follow the delayed pick up schedule. Please listen to the radio or watch TV for school closings.
Food City Receipts: Our program collects Food City receipts, please send in any you have that are apples or schools receipts.
Campbell Soup Labels: Our program collects Campbell Soup labels, please send in any you have that you may have.
