We went to Takoma Adventist Hospital during Doctor/Nurse/Dentist Week

We learned about how they draw blood and why they have to do it.

We even got a nutrition snack while we were there!

Physical therapy was very interesting, we learned that we have a skeleton that supports our body.

Field trips are GREAT!

On our recent trip to the library, our friends enjoy some "free" reading time.

Sharing a book is so much fun!

A lovely fall day--a great place for a class picture!

Halloween Fun!

Trick or Treating with our "big" friends! What fun!

During our "shoe" unit, our friends matched pairs of shoes.

Being proficient on the computer starts at an early age.

Cooperating and learning to play with other children is an on-going lesson in preschool.

We enjoy outside time. Our gross motor skills really get a work-out!

Playing in the sand...it feels cool and soft!

Pretty in purple.

Climbing with friends is fun!

Climbing up the slide gives us a different perspective on the world.

Throwing, bouncing, and kicking are all great activities for coordination.

Independent swinging is a skill we work on everyday.
Our very first "cooking" experience was making stoplights using graham crackers, peanut butter, and M & M's.
Spreading the peanut butter on the graham cracker took practice using our fine motor skills.

Then we had to pick out the right colors to make our stoplight.

The best part of all, was eating our creation and all the extra M & M's!

Putting puzzles together takes lots of brain work and sometimes we need help from a friend.
