Information
The program is planned
and conducted by a staff trained to meet the needs of schoolage children.
They also serve as positive adult
models. There is flexibility enough to accommodate children different age
groups and, at the same time, is designed to fulfill the special needs of
individuals. The Extended School Program is designed to supplement and support the
child's experiences at home and school. It is not babysitting
service, but a quality program
designed with the working family in mind. However, any parent (working or
non-working) may enroll the child in this program.

2. AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES

the Extended School Program requests that if you need any special accommodations to attend
and/or participate in any ESP activities, programs or functions, please contact Mr. Eddie

3. HOURS OF OPERATION
The Extended School Program will operate on the following
schedule during school days.
Before School: 6:30 A.M. - 7:15 A.M.
Grades K-5: 3:15 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
During full-day sessions (in-service, snow days, and school
holidays) the program will be available from 6:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. to meet the needs of
parental work schedules.
No child may remain in the care of ESP for more than ten (10)
hours per day except in emergency circumstances, (e.g.) acute illness of or injury to
parents or a natural disaster.

4. LATE PICK-UP
The Extended School Program closes promptly at 6:00 P.M.
If you arrive later, you will be charged a late fee of $5.00 per child for each 15
minutes, or a portion thereof, after the 6:00 P.M. Sign-out time
(Example: 10 minutes late, $5.00 fee; 17 minutes late, $10.00 fee.)

5. HOLIDAYS
The Extended School Program will not operate on the following
holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New
Year's Day, Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Good Friday.

6. MEALS AND SNACKS
School year children enrolled in the Before School Program
will be provided breakfast. An afternoon snack is provided each day. On full-day sessions,
during the school year children will need to bring a bag lunch and a canned drink; the
program will provide both a morning and afternoon snack on these days.

7. SUMMER PROGRAM
Breakfast will be available for children arriving before
7:15A.M. In addition, children will receive lunch and morning and afternoon snacks at no
additional charge.

8. ENROLLMENT
Enrollment in the Extended School Program is limited. Children
may be enrolled at any time throughout the year as long as space is available. You may
enroll your child for the week or for a specific number of days each week. In addition,
ESP accepts children for temporary enrollment to assist with parental emergencies, such as
unexpected illnesses, hospitalization, etc.

9. FEE PAYMENT
Each Friday you will be provided a statement of the fees due
for the following week. Weekly fees are calculated according to your signed fee pay
agreement. Payment will be due each Friday for the next week. For convenience, fees may be
paid monthly, in advance. Checks should be made out to the Extended School Program. If you
pay by cash, please have correct change. We do not keep cash. A receipt will be provided.
