About Us

The Extended School Program began offering child care at Eastview in the
fall of 1987. Thereafter, a site was opened at Hal Henard and Tusculum
in 1988 and 1989 respectively.

Each site has their own staff who prepare daily lesson plans and activities. These activities are age-appropriate and relevant to a child's world. Also , a staff member at each site is certified in CPR
and First Aid .

The Extended School program provides a time of the day for a child to have fun with proper supervision.  The trained adults that supervise all activities, often find themselves playing  soccer, basketball, kickball, and other games.   This type of interactivity provides the children with the opportunity to acquire positive role models and learn the proper discipline needed without the absence of fun.
