Only the best . . but getting better.

Becky Irwin, Title 1 reading lab teacher at Tusculum View Elementary was celebrated on Wednesday, 9/19/07 by members of the C-team;  her Principal, Mrs. Terri Rymer;  Mr. Larry Neas; and her mother, Mrs. Sally Andrew, teaching assistant at Highland .  Becky was nominated for a celebration by Mr. Neas, Principal of Highland Elementary and Title 1 coordinator for the school system.  Mr. Neas stated in his nomination, “Becky has been assigned as the teacher of a reading lab at Tusculum View Elementary.  This is a new position.  She has had to literally make a classroom…walls, furniture, cabinets, etc.  Becky has also had to learn and follow ALL of the Title 1 guidelines in setting up Title 1 eligibility standards for all students at TV.  Through all of this frustration she has remained positive and has gone above and beyond what is expected of her.  She is thorough, very organized, and cares deeply about the academic and social success of her students.  Our school system is fortunate to have a person like Becky on our World Class Team.”  We couldn’t agree more!
